Spring 2024 Open Registration and Tentative Key Dates

Hello, everyone!

We just wrapped up the Fall 2023 season with our Championship Night last week, but we are already starting to prepare for the Spring 2024 season. With that in mind, here are two important announcements.

1. Spring 2024 Registration NOW OPEN

Registration for next spring is open! Please register soon if you are planning to participate. Registration will remain open for the next 10 weeks, and will close at midnight on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. HOWEVER, please note the following registration enrollment caps that we will enforce for the Spring 2024 season. (PTCLL is required to adhere to these enrollment caps under the terms of our latest Little League charter, which was approved by Little League International in early 2023.)

For ages 4-6 (Tee Ball and Rookie Ball divisions): no cap (unlimited enrollment)

For ages 7-12 (Majors, Triple-A, Double-A, and Single-A divisions): enrollment cap is 366 players total across all divisions combined

For ages 13-15 (Seniors division): enrollment cap is 48 players total

Note that we will NOT make exceptions to these enrollment caps. When the cap is met for a particular age group, we will close enrollment for that group, even if the registration period is not yet over.

In addition, please note that if necessary, we may put in place enrollment caps by age within the 7-12 age group, to ensure that we end up with an appropriate number of players in each division (Majors, Triple-A, Double-A, Single-A). So if you want to be assured of a slot next spring, PLEASE REGISTER SOON!

Also, while you are registering your child to play, please also consider registering yourself as a volunteer. We have many volunteer roles available, including team managers (head coaches), assistant coaches, and off-the-field team volunteers. We ALWAYS end up needing more volunteers than we have – ESPECIALLY team managers. You can register as a volunteer using the same registration link above.

2. Spring 2024 Tentative Key Dates

Here is the tentative schedule of key dates for the Spring 2024 season.

Registration Opens: Nov 9
Registration Closes: Jan 17
Player Assessments: Jan 20-22 (specific times and location TBD)
Player Allocations (drafts): Jan 23-27
Team Rosters Announced: Jan 28
Practices Begin: Week of Jan 29
Uniforms Distributed: Week of Feb 19
Opening Day: Mar 2
Regular Season Ends: Week of April 29
Playoffs: May 4-16
Home Run Derby: May 15
Championship Night: May 16
